Phenomenal Woman

Zen Pencils is a great cartoonist who turns strong words into even stronger images. I love how he makes poems come to life. Such as Phenomenal Woman by Maya Angelou.

Angelou recently passed away and Gavin of Zen Pencils dedicated this cartoon to her. I think it’s a very strong and gracious poem on the strength of women. With my love for spoken word poetry, I like to read poems out aloud, and this one very good for that. So try it.
